Management
Richard Woodhead - Managing Director
Richard is Managing Director of GPS Managed Investments Pty Ltd and was one of the founders of the company in 1993. He is a former solicitor and has over 20 years industry experience particularly in the areas of construction, finance, litigation and insolvency laws.
Richard has a background ranging from advising his own property based clients to leading his own companies through complex contract negotiations, acquisitions and sales and corporate governance.
His legal background is a great asset to the company and gives us a depth of understanding and application to this important facet of business.
Funds Raising & Investor Services
Bruce Atkinson – Dip. Bus (Mgmt) - Funds Manager
Bruce is an Authorised Representative of La Trobe Capital & Mortgage Corporation Limited ABN: 27 007 332 363 & AFS Licence No: 222213. Bruce commenced employment in May 2000 and as Funds Manager of GPS, he is responsible for all funds raising activities within the company including group advertising. He has over 30 years experience in the banking and finance industry having occupied senior positions with Citibank and Suncorp.
Loan Services
Justin Millard – B.Bus (Acct), Grad.Dip Proj. Mgt, MAIPM, AAPI - Lending Manager
Justin commenced employment in May 1998 and is GPS Lending Manager. He is responsible for assessing all mortgage applications introduced to GPS strictly in accordance with La Trobe approved Loan Application Assessment Guidelines. Prior to joining, Justin spent seven years with one of Australia’s major banks, predominantly in the area of lending to the banks higher net worth clients. He also brings 2 years experience as a senior manager with a state wide finance broking firm.
Justin specialises in the area of loan assessment including financial and property analysis. In conjunction with La Trobe’s independent quantity surveyors, valuers and other external consultants, Justin has supervised in excess of $100 million in construction projects over the past two years. He is currently undertaking his Masters Degree in Project Management, is a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management, and an Associate of the Australian Property Institute.
Administration
Karen Tait - Administration Manager
Karen assists the Lending Manager in all areas of assessment and management of mortgage applications along with day to day administration of loans. Karen is also responsible for our Settlements Department. She holds a Certificate III in Financial Services.
Karen is also the Administration Manager of GPS and has been with the firm since November 1993. She ensures the smooth running of our office and day to day management of our accounting section.
Tina Orley - Assistant Funds Manager
Tina assists Bruce with investor processing and enquiries.
She has extensive experience in office clerical duties which she obtained over her 22 years of working in various industries.
Renee Gill - Team Administrator
Renee is our new Team Administrator.
Renee has worked in the legal industry predominately in property for the last 10 years and also has experience in the financial services industry.
